Health-Related Policies and Information

Trivium Academy offers a combination of physical education classes and recess in elementary school and physical education classes or athletics in middle and high school to engage students in the amount and level of physical activity required by Tex. Educ. Code § 28.002(1).

Trivium Academy has adopted and enforces policies to ensure our school complies with vending machine and food service guidelines to restrict student access to vending machines.

Trivium Academy has adopted and enforces policies and procedures which penalize the use of tobacco products by students and others on school grounds or at school-sponsored or school-related activities.

Parents, you may request in writing your child’s physical fitness assessment results at the conclusion of the school year.

TEA’s publication of Guidelines for the Care of Students With Food Allergies At-Risk for Anaphylaxis may be found by clicking on the link. The guidelines document includes information about how to:

  • Discuss federal and state legislation

  • Define and discuss a food allergy and anaphylaxis

  • Discuss the signs and symptoms of an allergic reaction

  • Discuss how to treat food allergies and anaphylaxis, and how to manage food allergies in the school setting

  • Identify students with food allergies at risk for anaphylaxis

  • Develop, implement, communicate, and monitor emergency care plans, 504 plans, or individualized health care plans

  • Reduce exposure risk through environmental controls

  • Provide training for school staff on food allergies, anaphylaxis, and emergency response

Trivium Academy Midway has a full-time school counselor who travels to the Proton and Plano campuses as needed. Trivium Academy does not employ a full-time nurse on any campus. However, there is a health aide on the Trivium Academy Proton campus who travels to the Midway and Plano campuses as needed.

Superintendent Salary

As required by law, Trivium Academy must post the annual salary of the superintendent which is $120,000 for school year 2025-2026.
